Biography
Tom Green grew out in Ottawa, being his comedy career in
his teen years entertaining his friends. By college he was
doing stand-up comedy and even released a rap album. After
he graduated, he got his TV debut on a local station with
The Tom Greeb Show which soon found its way into MTV's collection
of purchases airing it in 1999.
At MTV he rose to new heights of popularity with tastless
but never the less highly entertaining gags and his infamous
"Cancer Special." He then moved into films with
small rolls in movies such as Superstar.
Then in 2000, the funniest movie of all time, Road Trip hit
cinema screens with Tom Green playing the geeky student, Barry.
He also got a cameo in Carlie's Angels released 2000, which
ended with himself and Drew Barrymore, marrying the next year.
After The Tom Green Show ended, he decided to concentrate
on movie making, starring and directing in Freddy Got Fingered
featuring more of the crude humor that made him famous. Unfortunatly
the movie did not do too well.
